Originally crafted from bendable Italian poplar, polished brass & Lucite in 1962, the Melmar 1Lt arc lamp has been reissued from the Nova vault. This reissue includes all the styles of the mid-century modern classic with updates for today’s style and technology. The Melmar 1 Light Arc is finished in walnut and weathered brass with the classic bentwood styling. The acrylic cone-shaped shade is now illuminated with an energy-saving LED bulb. The sturdy marble base ensures that once positioned, the lamp stays in place. This lamp is equipped with a dimmer switch, providing just the right light to read by or enjoy a warm glow. When used in conjunction with a smart switch, Melmar is compatible with Amazon Echo, Google Assistant, and Apple Home and can be automatically turned on/off manually, by voice activation, or by scheduled settings.
